ELECTROMAGNETISM

Objectives:
The purpose of this experiment is
1. To verify the left-hand rule for conductors and coils.
2. To prove that the strength of a magnetic field is proportional to the current flow through the coil.
3. To become familiar with the magnetic field of the permanent magnet, compass.

(Electricity and magnetism are inseparable-Electric currents produce magnetic fields and vice versa. In this experiment, you will observe their interdependence).

Built in regulated power supply at +10V/300mA variable.
Input Supply: 230 VAC/50Hz mains operated.
Dimension: 27cms x 17cms x 10cms.
Weight: 500gms

MAGNETIC AND ELECTROMAGNETIC DEVICES

Objectives:
The purpose of this experiment is:
1. To determine the pull-in and pull-out currents.
2. To demonstrate that an emf is induced into a coil by a moving coil.
3. To study the operation of a burglar alarm circuit, using a read switch and buzzer.
4. To demonstrate electromagnetic induction.
Built in power supply at (15-0-15) VAC
Input Supply: 230 VAC/50Hz mains operated.
Dimension: 27cms x 17cms x 10cms.
Weight: 500gms

NETWORK THEOREMS

Objectives:
The purpose of this experiment is:
1. To verify the kirchoff's law.
2. To verify the superposition theorem.
3. To verify Thevenin's & Norton's theorem,

(A network is simply a circuit made up of several components, such as resistors, connected in series and parallel combinations. Above theorems are intended to analyze these networks.)

Built in regulated variable supply at + 15V/300mA, -15V/300mA
Input Supply: 230 VAC/50Hz mains operated.
Dimension: 27cms x 17cms x 10cms.
Weight: 500gms

MAXIMUM POWER TRANSFER THEOREM

Objectives:
The purpose of this experiment is to demonstrate that maximum power is obtained from a power source when the resistance of the load is equal to the internal resistance of the power source, by drawing the maximum power transfer curve.

Built in regulated supply at: + 5V/300mA.
Input Supply: 230 VAC/50Hz mains operated.
Dimension: 27cms x 17cms x 10cms.
Weight: 500gms

R-C CIRCUITS AND TIME CONSTANT

Objectives:
The purpose of this experiment is to determine experimentally how a capacitor charges and discharges through a resistor, how voltage is distributed between series circuit, how total capacitance is affected by connecting capacitors in series and parallel, how a capacitor converts pulsating DC to direct current, how capacitors are used in voltage doublers and how capacitors are used as timing devices.

These experiments are performed, using DC supply voltage sources; and DC voltmeter and DC current meter.

Built in regulated supply at: +5V/300mA variable.
Input Supply: 230 VAC/50Hz mains operated.
Dimension: 27cms x 17cms x 10cms.
