Application:
Precision variation of capacitance from 1000PF to 11.11mfd in steps of 1000PF. Very useful in any modern laboratory engaged in research, design and development of electronics circuits; such as AC bridges, amplifiers, oscillators, pulse circuits, filter networks, etc., by accurate substitution.

Uses polystyrene and polycarbonate capacitors of 1% tolerance, thereby ensuring, accuracy constancy and stability of operation.These capacitors have extremely low power factor. They are also non-inductively wound.

NB: Polystyrene and polycarbonate capacitors have very high insulation resistance. Consequently, they are high time constant of several hours.

Application:
General purpose laboratory precision instrument whose inductance value can be varied from 1 mH to 10H, in steps of 1mH. Used in modern laboratories engaged in research, design and development of electronic circuits, filter networks, equialisers, tuned circuits, oscillators, frequency analysers, etc. in audio and low radio frequency regions, as a temporary substitution for finding optimum value of inductance.

Four decade ranges are used; 1mH –9mH, 10mH –90mH, 100mH –900mH and 1H –9H. Can be used upto 10Mhz.
