LEVEL ALARM CIRCUIT DEMONSTRATOR. MODEL IBL-DM-5

The Level Alarm Circuit Demonstrator consists of three level Electrodes. One for Upper Level and the other for Lower Level Detection. The third acts as Reference Electrode. The height of upper and lower level detection electrodes are adjustable. Detection of level is by electronics circuit capable of providing a binary output. When the water is below lower level detection electrode, the water pump switches ON, and an audio alarm is initiated. When the water level reaches upper level the pump is switched OFF. A mechanical stopcock is used to drain the water from the tank. This simulates fall in water level.

Specifications:

  • Two level, adjustable electrodes.
  • 1 Lt. water tank and a sump.
  • 230 V AC operated pump, operated by a relay.
  • Piezo electric alarm.
  • The system has built-in power supply suitable for the above.
  • Stopcock arrangement to drain water from the tank to sump.

FLOW ALARM CIRCUIT DEMONSTRATOR. MODEL IBL-DM-6

The system consists of small water tank. A pump pumps the water from this tank. The water flows through a flow transducer, and recirculated into the water tank. The speed of the pump is variable, hence flow. It is possible to set a flow to a desired flow rate in terms of voltage. If the flow exceeds the set flow rate an alarm is initiated. There is not control to change the flow rate to a desired flow rate.

Specifications:

  • 2 Lt. Water sump.
  • Flow Transducer to detect flow rate.
  • Variable Speed Motor with Pump.
  • Piezo Electric alarm.
  • The system has built-in power supply suitable for the above.

PRESSURE ALARM CIRCUIT DEMONSTRATOR. MODEL IBL-DM-7

Pressure Alarm Circuit Demonstrator consists of a 1 Lt. pressure vessel. The pressure vessel is fitted with a pressure switch, pressure gauge, safety release valve, and a stopcock. Using the stopcock, the air pressure in the pressure vessel can be discharged into atmosphere. The pressure vessel is pressurized with a foot pump upto 15-PSI. The pressure switch detects the pressure in the vessel by closure of switch contacts, when the pressure reaches approximately 8 PSI. An audio alarm is initiated if the pressure in the vessel exceeds 8 PSI.

Specifications:

  • 2 Lt. Pressure Vessel. 1 No.
  • Safety Release Valve. 1 No
  • Pressure Switch. 1 No.
  • Stopcock. 1 No.
  • Audio Alarm. 1 No.
  • Dial Pressure Gauge to indicate upto 15 PSI. 1 No.

TEMPERATURE ALARM CIRCUIT DEMONSTRATOR. MODEL IBL-DM-8

The Temperature Alarm Circuit Demonstrator consists of RTD Transducer sensing element, to detect the change in temperature in the range of 25°C to 80°C. Water in the bath, is heated by a heater. If temperature exceeds the preset temperature, the alarm is initiated, and the heating stops. A 31/2-digit display indicates the temperature of the heating bath.

Specifications:

  • RTD Sensing Electrode. 1 No.
  • 1 Lt. Boro-silicte Water Jar. 1 No
  • 300 Watts Heater. 1 No.
  • Thermometer. 1No.
  • Relay Actuator. 1 No.
  • 3 1/2 Digit Display. 1 No.
  • The system has built-in power supply suitable for the above.

BURGLAR ALARM CIRCUIT DEMONSTRATOR. MODEL IBL-DM - 9

The Burglar Alarm Circuit Demonstrator consists of an Optical Transducer, which detects the presence or absence of light. The obstruction to normal light is detected and an audio alarm is initiated. When the obstruction is removed from incidence of normal light, the audio alarm stops. The change in state of light is made use of to detect the presence of an obstruction. The detection electronics identifies these two states. For successful demonstration ambient light is required, similar to 25 watts incandescent lamp (ordinary bulb). This is only a demonstrator.

Specifications:

  • Optical Transducer. 1 No.
  • Interface Electronics to detect bi-state input.
  • Piezo Electric Alarm. 1 No.
  • The system has built-in power supply suitable for the above.
