REYNOULDS APPARATUS
To demonstrate the principal of laminar and turbulent flow and determination of reynoulds number for various flow rates. A water supply tank to which a glass tube is connected and enters at the center of glass tube cross section. For laminar flow condition, stick is clearly viable but in turbulent flow, the die line diffuse, controlled by valves and gives clear visualization.

VERIFICATION OF BERNOULLIES THEOREM APPARATUS
To calculate the energy & head of water at different saction, A unit consists of a transparent flow channel through which water is made to flow. The velocity of water changes as cross sectional area of channel changes. Changes of head are measured with manometric tubes connected at various tapping to the channel.

FLOW OVER NOTCHES APPARATUS
A flow channel in which notch fitted. Water is supplied at one end of channel, which flows over the notch. A setting chamber with dampers is provided at beginning of flow channel to reduce the pulsations and to settle the flow.arrangement is provided to measure the sill level of water & flow level to determine the head.

FLOW THROUGH ORIFICE & MOUTHPIECE
To determine Cd, Cc, & Cv, of orifice as well as Cd of mouthpiece. A supply tank to which orifice or mouthpiece fitted. Tank with flow settling arrangement. A tracer pointer to demonstrate & determine x-y Co-ordinates of jet. Arrangement is provided to vary and measure the head over orifice or mouthpiece.

FLOW MEASUREMENT BY VENTURIMETER AND ORIFICEMETER
A unit consists a supply piping connected to a transparent venturi and orifice. tappings to measure pressure difference across venturi and orifice which are connected to differential manometer. The actual flow rate can be measured with the help of measuring tank and both the meters can be calibrated.

LOSSES IN PIPE FITTINGS
To study of loss of head in various pipe fittings, the apparatus consists of a piping providing with a various fittings. A differential manometer supplied to measure the loss of head in these fitting. A flow control valve is provided which enables experimentation at various flow rates. Sufficient settling length for accurate readings.

LOSSES IN PIPE FRICTION
To study the effect of velocity over the head loss. A unit consists of G.I. pipes of same length but two different diameters and one pipe are copper and aluminium each. Piezometric tubes to measure the head at tappings to compare the head losses for various material and pipe diameters.

CENTRIFUGAL PUMP TEST RIG
CONSTANT SPEED – Centrifugal pump, provided with three phase motor, vacuum gauge at suction and pressure gauge on discharge pipe, gate valve at discharge, which facilities estimation of pump performance at various discharge heads. AC MOTOR & PULLEY TYPE – As per constant speed type, only pump is provided with a three speed pulley, gate valve at discharge to vary the head. DC MOTOR VARIABLE SPEED —As per constant speed type, only pump is provided with a variable speed drive and gate value at discharge to vary the speed.

MULTISTAGE CENTRIFUGAL PUMP TEST RIG
Two stage centrifugal pump provided with three phase motor, vacuum gauge at suction & pressure gauge on discharge pipe, pump is a monoblock (I S I Kirloskar) provided with gate valve at discharge which facilities estimation of pump performance at various discharge heads.
