The PIC TRAINER is a platform for experimenting with PIC micro applications. This is on the higher end of PIC micro-controllers. It contains the circuitry required by the PIC micro 16F877 to operate 5-volt power supply, oscillator, and reset circuit. It has built in Power supply. A 40 Pin ZIF socket accommodates the PIC16F877. All of the PIC micro I/O pins are brought out to headers next to a 40-pin ZIF socket. This allows connection to off-board circuits as well as allowing on-board circuits to be connected to other PIC micro pins, if desired. All the I/O pins are terminated on an FRC male connector for interface. This trainer has 8K X 14 flash program words, 256 bytes of EEPROM, 368 bytes of RAM, Interrupt capability, 32 I/O with 8 ADC channels. This requires an PIC programmer Model PICPGR-1, to program the chip. The programmed chip can then be inserted into the PIC trainer for conducting the interface experiments.

This is based on PIC 16F84 controller. This trainer has all the components required for interfacing the following modules. Pins of all the ports are terminated on a 50 pin Flat Ribbon Cable male connector. From this connector you can connect any one of the following interface modules. This unit has built in power supply. This requires an optional PIC programmer Model PICPGR-1, to program the chip. The programmed chip can then be inserted into the PIC trainer for conducting the interface experiments.
